Magnolia, Feb 14 - William H. Greer, 80, banker and manufacturer, died Thursday afternoon at
this home here. He was a life resident of Magnolia.
Mr. Greer organized the Bank of Magnolia and the Greer-Beatty Clay Co., and was associated
with the Whitacre-Greer Fireproofing Co. He was the son of the late W.H.Greer and Margaret
Elson Greer and the last survivor of his immediate family. He was a member of Canton Trinity
Lutheran church.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Olin Mowls of the home and Mrs. Milton Portz of
Cleveland; son W. R. of Magnolia; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the home in charge of Rev. H. G. Blickensderfer
and the body will be placed in the Magnolia mausoleum. The body will be taken to the home
today at 5 p.m. from McCreery parlors.
