Charles H. Jenness, 79, died last evening about 6 o'clock at his home, 615 Home Avenue, after an illness of six months from complications. Besides the widow, he is survived by one son, Dayton H. Jenness, of his city, and two daughters, Mrs. S.S. French of Youngstown, O., and Mrs. C.E. Kendrick, of this city. Five grandsons, and two granddaughters also survive. Funeral services will be held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Kendrick, 501 Oakdale drive, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternooon, Rev. Harry C. Harmon, of the Wayne Street M.E. church offciating. Burial will be made in Lindenwood.
Mrs. Jennie M. Jenness, 81, died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mr. C. E. Kendrick, 501 Oakdale Drive. Mrs. Kenness was a member of one of the pioneer families of the city, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Alderman. She was born and lived all her life in this city. She was a member of the Wayne Street Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kendrick, this city and Mrs. S.S. French of Canton, O.: one son, Dayton Jenness of Columbus, Oh,: five grandsons, two granddaughters; one great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Kendrick Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev Asher S. Preston officiating. Burial in Lindenwood.
